Rat-tail radish is an Asian heirloom that does not have an edible root, but instead is grown for its profusion of spicy immature seed pods. Plants start small but quickly produce flowering branches that spread 3 feet tall and wide. Harvest slim green or purplish pods when just beginning to plump up, before the tails get fibrous. Great in stir-fried dishes, raw in salads, or pickled. Also valuable in the garden as a fast way to attract pollinators in early spring.

Fast shipping. A few seeds were smashed but I have more than enough to get dozens of plants going. I'm looking forward to trying these out.

The last seed to go into the garden last week. Each seed was planted individually spaced about 1-2inch apart. 100% all came up, fast growers. Thanks.

I soaked these for several hours and planted them, just a couple days later and they are sprouting right up! Excited to try them.
