These 2-ft-tall beauties have purple tones to their foliage, lavender flowers, and purple fruits that ripen to deep red. A great choice for container plantings, with visual appeal all season. At 3 inches long, the peppers are rather short for a cayenne, but they still pack plenty of heat.
Culture: Seeds germinate at 80 degrees, and young plants are very frost-sensitive, so start indoors in March or April, with bottom heat, for best results.
